Parks and Amenities:
The Village of McComb is very fortunate to have one of the best public parks in Hancock County. The Park is located on the east side of the Village on State Route 186.
There are four baseball fields with one having lights for night games and events. One batting cage, a zero-entry swimming pool with a splash pad and water toys and one water slide, two tennis courts, a basketball court, five shelter houses for public use for a fee. The two reservoirs are located at the park for public fishing and sledding in the winter. Ice fishing is NOT permitted. Boats with electric motors are permitted.
A lighted football field is located at the McComb School campus.
There are four soccer fields located at the east end of the park as well as two located at the McComb Church of Christ for public use.
The Village has installed an approximate 3 mile walk/fitness trail that winds its way from the front of the park around the base of both reservoirs to the back of the park. New additional bike/walk path have been installed this year. The trail has many wonderful new trees and park benches installed for public use.
An 18-hole Disc Golf course has been installed at the rear of the park to be enjoyed by many.
An outdoor ice rink opened on field 3 located at the back of the park.
