Discover The Village of McComb

McComb is located 10 miles northwest of Findlay, Ohio and 45 miles south of Toledo, Ohio.  McComb has been rated as “one of the best communities in Hancock County for young people”.  The village is in the northwest corner of Hancock County; towards the Wood County and Putnam County border. McComb has a population of 1,643 according to the 2017 census and is the largest village in Hancock County.  Hancock County has a total population of approximately 74,000. The village has one school district, known as the McComb School District with the school K-12 and a panther as the mascot. 

The Village of McComb has the small town atmosphere, yet within reasonable distance to some large city amenities.  The Village of McComb has an elected Mayor and Council form of government.  The full-time Village Administrator manages the day-to-day operations of the Village.  The Fiscal Officer is responsible for overseeing all Village finances. The village also has a Tax Administrator and Utility Secretary.

McComb has a few locations for food, fuel, doctors and retail shopping. The McComb Public Library, Pisanello's Pizza, Dollar General, Sunoco Gas Station, VFW, American Legion, McComb Family Practice and McComb Family Dentistry. Main Street remains decorated with old brick buildings but new businesses are opening up within them!
